Azuki // Los Angeles

This publicity stunt and video deliverable launched Azuki’s physical debut in Los Angeles. Filmed using a celebrity stunt helicopter pilot, RED camera systems, and DJI Inspire 2 drones, we captured a historical moment, using Web2 marketing tactics, for Web3 technologies and the metaverse. Utilizing advanced footage degradation and film development techniques, this campaign pays homage to streetwear brand Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2011 - Aerial New York City stunt.

CHALLENGE

Azuki faced the challenge of transforming their brand presence into a physical experience in Los Angeles, requiring meticulous logistics coordination, permit acquisition, FAA compliance, and the fabrication of a 4,000 sq ft banner. Framework Films offered a one-stop solution, handling everything from creative development and staffing to aerial filming using RED cinema camera systems. Our ability to manage the production process and deliver a captivating result aligned perfectly with Azuki's vision, making us the top choice for this ambitious project.

TURNING BYSTANDERS INTO BRAND ADVOCATES

The AZUKI // LOS ANGELES banner stunt illustrates the power of user-generated content (UGC) in transforming ordinary bystanders into enthusiastic advocates. Capturing reactions on Twitter as the massive banner soared through the skies turns spontaneous moments into valuable brand assets and amplified voices. These genuine, unrehearsed expressions become a powerful storytelling tool, offering a glimpse into the authentic impact of this guerilla marketing campaign on individuals. As these reactions circulate on social media platforms, they create a ripple effect, influencing the perception of the brand and turning a momentary event into a lasting memory for those who witnessed it.
